The NASA team will discuss the challenges of going to Mars and how the International Space Station (ISS) is helping us gain the knowledge we need to make the mission successful.

Astronaut Bill McArthur will also share his experiences on multiple Shuttle flights and as the Commander of the Expedition #12 crew on the International Space Station (ISS).

NASA Astronaut Bob Cenker commented during his visit to Aberdeen that “We are all Explorers” and as part of our NASA in Aberdeen program we “Inspire the Next Generation” by learning about being a 21st Century Explorer in Space, Oil, Gas & Energy.

Please note this talk is also taking place at The MacRobert Hall at Robert Gordon's College on the evening of 20th March.
