Enchanted Engineering uses creative storytelling to help young people tackle real-world engineering challenges.
Aberdeen Science Centre is offering four free sessions for uniform groups and community groups with children aged 7–14. Activities are based on familiar stories and engineering problems, from cleaning up an oil spill to protect Ariel and her friends, to building stronger homes for the Three Little Pigs, repairing a bridge for a troll and recovering Neptune’s trident from the seabed.

- Wednesday 7 October 2026, 6pm–8.30pm
- Tuesday 10 November 2026, 6pm–8.30pm
- Saturday 16 January 2027, 10am–12.30pm
- Friday 5 February 2027, 6pm–8.30pm
Groups should complete an enquiry to request a place. Enchanted Engineering is supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology through the Ingenious Follow-on Fund scheme.
