Birthday parties at Aberdeen Science Centre last for two hours and include time to explore the centre, enjoy a hands-on workshop and gather for party food, juice and cake. Your party includes:
Birthday parties can be booked with or without food, depending on the package you choose.
Birthday parties are available across a range of two-hour slots.
Final party details must be confirmed at least two weeks before the party date.
We recommend booking early, especially for weekend dates and school holiday periods.

Five adults are included free of charge.
Our birthday parties are designed for children aged 5 to 10, with party guests aged 4 and above.
Parties can include up to 20 children. At least two adults must be present during the party, with five adults included free as part of the booking.

Every birthday party includes a hands-on science workshop. Choose from bubbles, volcanoes, colourful chemistry or an immersive VR space experience, with options suited to different ages and interests.
Workshops are designed to be fun, practical and easy for everyone in the group to join in.

Food, juice and cake made simple
Parties can be booked with food included, giving children time to sit down together for party food, juice and cake as part of the two-hour experience.
You can bring your own birthday cake, but outside food is not permitted. Sparklers cannot be used because of the centre’s sensitive smoke alarms.

Useful information before you book
A minimum non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party booking. Final details must be confirmed at least two weeks before the party.
The host family should arrive around 15 minutes before the party start time. Guests should arrive around five minutes before the party begins.
